My sled ran so much better and stayed cool all day long after installing these vents!

I’ve tried multiple types of vents over the years and nothing compares to Fire n Ice’s.  I won’t buy anything else.

Today`s #techtip
Run the handlebars that work best for you.
For probably 10 years now, it seems like every pro rider has been preaching to use the lowest handlebars possible.
Unfortunately, this just isn`t a good fit for everyone.
It`s ok to run what works best for you!

Rules of thumb with titanium hardware:
- 2/3 of the strength
-2/3 of the weight
-never use an impact driver
-always use thread lubricant to prevent galling

Version 2 of the Big Air Intake has arrived!
1-piece nylon construction. The installation is so simple and easy. (No drilling or gluing)

Tag someone who needs these in the comments.

Extra clean Nylon construction
Simple install - 4 bolts - 2 minutes
Features 4 angled intake surfaces per side (Clutch / Exhaust sides)
Doubles air intake surface area = more air to the motor
Reduces bogs and intake plugging
Externally mounted, custom-made, durable, high flow, hydrophobic pre-filter material
Features Frogskinz vents for easy repair if ever damaged
Increases available air volume, which also helps prevent bogging
Direct replacement for stock
No cutting, drilling, trimming etc…

Q: Should I still run an under-hood Intake Boost Vent with these?

A: Yes we still recommend it. Having a completely clear path for air to get into the motor is key. Unfortunately, on a snowmobile, the only place for this is underhood. However, our big air intakes will dramatically reduce or eliminate bogs for most riders.

Q: Are repair kits available if I tear an intake?

A: Yes. We have repair kits available for our big air intakes.

Q: Will this 100% eliminate bogging?

A: Maybe. This product will definitely improve air intake, but sleds bog from a combination of different factors including: intake, exhaust, clutching, tune, snow conditions, and electronics among other factors. Intake is just one factor in a bigger equation.

Q: Do I have to follow the installation instructions?

A: Yes. Always.

Fire N Ice P-22 clutch cover tech talk

Our design approach to this cover was to make the strongest, lowest inertia(resistance to rotation or “rotating weight”), best cooling cover we could. Static weight was lower on our priorities. We feel the P-22 would see the biggest performance improvements from a more robust cover with better support vs simply making the cover lighter.

Confirmed fit/function with 2024 clutch updates.

Lowest inertia P-22 cover
20% lower than stock
Lowest inertia, most efficient P-22 cover
Stiffest, most rigid clutch cover available
Strongest cover available
Uses the most expensive 7075 super alloy
82% stronger material vs stock and 6061
Faster acceleration
Reach max rpm faster
Increased throttle response
Lightest 7075 clutch cover available
Supports towers for better clutch performance
Increased surface area for cooler clutches
>5 deg cooler
Taller bushing for improved support and durability
9.2% increased surface area
No compromise to longevity, durability or performance
Adds ~0.025″ of additional clearance to the spyder, allowing the clutch to achieve full shift-out
Covered by a 12 month warranty

#techtips Tuesday. We`ve been putting off posting this video because we know Big Hardware does not want you to know this... Split "Lock" Washers at best literally don`t do anything and at worst cause bolted joints to loosen or even fail faster than using nothing.

Things that work: Nylon inserts, thread locker, and proper torque procedures to achieve design clamp load.

Reading list so you dont have to take our word for it:
